The Motorola Moto Z Play Droid, which was a Verizon-only exclusive back in 2016, is receiving an update to Android 8.0 Oreo starting today. The software version is ODN27.76-12-30-2, and the update weighs in at a hefty 1.1GB. Before starting the updating process, Verizon asks you to connect to a Wi-Fi network, or a strong Verizon signal.
